Artist's Description

This painting explores my personal journey to fight my manic depressive nature and turn that energy toward creativity. It is about the process of changing my own opinion of myself from seeing myself as mentally screwed up to seeing myself as a work of art, and embracing those eccentricities that used to destroy me. This is a very large painting, nearly five feet square. For prints, I would recommend stretched canvas with black sides or either Somerset Velvet or Watercolor paper. This image does not lend itself well to the "continuous image sides" canvas option.
