(Please click complete bio link below to be taken to the full bio on my website.) Please note that this artist died in March 2013, but her art lives on and remains available for sale for the benefit of her son, who maintains this site. Here is the biography she wrote for this site: I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. As an adult I have lived in the suburbs of Phoenix, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Cleveland, Boston, and now back in the Atlanta area again. I am tremendously impressed with your varied and stylistic portfolio. The depth of your work and the skill with which you handle all of your mediums is incredible. I will continue to watch with interest for your next postings.
Bruce Combs - REACH BEYOND
I generally work my way up from bottom to top so that I see the paintings as posted chronologically as well as not having some disappear off the board before I reach them! Thus,I had not seen these yet when I wrote the comment on PAINT BOX 1, which with that title gives it a different slant or whole meaning than if seen as a progression (digression?) in a series begun with WHITE BOX TRIPTYCH. I'm torn between considering them together or not. The title "PAINT" BOX, for me lends a whole different group of possible facets to it, rather than merely the descriptive "WHITE." I also mistook your sculpture of Boy CLIMPING OUT of a window as out of a BOX like the one(s) here. (I'm feeling that I'm just not up to writing about this today, but not because of MY confusions here when presented with such talented as well as thoughtful art.) So I will stop for now, after mentioning that I do appreciate your seeking to present progressions; even the order of the photos of the single sculpture CLIMBING OUT can appear a progression!
