Artist's Description

Here a cat is confused--did he do something wrong? His little buddy has stopped playing with him, and isn't even moving at all. The cat's eyes plead with you to explain, to fix, or to forgive. The back of the sculpture uses the space behind the cat to show a hollowed log, where the other mice are curious and fearful. The baby hides in the corner while the larger braves a peek around the corner to see what is happening. The story is meant as a tragic twist on the typical cat/mouse relationship. The cat never meant to hurt the mouse. He was just playing, and he is incapable of understanding.
